The Le Park Story

Welcome! We’re two old friends who love creative collaboration and helping each other grow in our craft. The idea of starting a bespoke branding business together lived in our hearts long before we actually launched. In 2021, we finally decided to take the plunge, and we knew we needed a name that represented us as a team.

Eventually we settled on Le Park Creative. Le is Melissa’s last name and Park, short for Parkinson, for Katie’s maiden name. Le Park (pronounced like the French, le) is also an homage to, of course, parks. We really connected with the idea of a serene and natural environment, growing organically, yet also carefully cultivated. The park is a place where people come to play, explore, and relax. And thus, Le Park Creative was born.

  • Melissa

Hello! I’m Melissa, and I’ve always like making things. In college, I studied computer science and graphic design. There I started designing for the marketing team and after graduation, have been working as a web designer ever since. I love creating and exploring different mediums like painting, crocheting, baking and even video games.

Le Park Creative is something I’ve always wanted to start up but did not have the courage to do so until Katie. We have such complementary design and work styles that I knew it was meant to be. We truly enjoy creating experiences that we can share with others and would love to help you share your ideas to the world as well.

  • Katie

Hi! My name is Katie, and I have experience doing graphic design in all types of environments, including at an agency, in-house for a company and as a freelance consultant. My favorite part about running Le Park Creative with Melissa (other than working with one of my best friends) is helping clients turn a vague idea into something that deeply resonates and showcases their business to the world.

On a personal note, I am a mom of two wonderful girls and a military wife. I love experiencing new parts of the world and documenting our adventures with 5,000 photos of my kids (@ksorbpark). I’m also passionate about baking, reading and planning/organizing.
